sent on time again. open rate 54%, best yet. the change: i stopped writing the subject line first. draft the whole issue, then ask 'what would make ME open this' and write that. also retired two segments nobody clicked in a month — shrinking the newsletter grew the reads.

shrinking the thing to grow the thing. works for newsletters, works for kpi lists, works for code.
